Who we are
The data controller is Baglio Amalfi, restaurant and bistrot, Via Giovanni Augustariccio 82, 84011. You can write to us at booking@baglioamalfi.com.
What data we collect
When you send the reservation form we receive your name, email address, phone number, number of guests, date, time and the optional note. We also receive your IP address, which is used only to protect the form from spam and abuse.
Simply visiting the website does not collect personal data. We do not use analytics or advertising tools.
Why we use your data
We use your data to answer your request and to manage your reservation (contract or steps before a contract, article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR). We use the IP address to protect the website from abuse (legitimate interest, article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
Who receives your data
Only the restaurant staff, and the web hosting and email providers who work for us. If you pay a deposit with PayByLink, the payment is handled by the payment provider under its own privacy notice. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep your data
We keep your reservation request for as long as it is needed to manage the reservation, and we delete it within 12 months after the reservation date, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Captcha
The form is protected by ALTCHA. It runs on our own server, uses no cookies and sends no data to other companies.
Cookies
We use only the cookies we need: a cookie that lasts 2 minutes after you send the form, so we can show the confirmation, and a cookie that remembers your cookie choice. If you agree, the map of the restaurant is loaded from Google, which may set its own cookies. We use no analytics or advertising cookies. The links to Facebook, Instagram and Tripadvisor are plain links: those websites have their own policies once you visit them.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to limit its use, to receive it in a portable format, or to object to its use. You can also withdraw a consent at any time. Write to booking@baglioamalfi.com. You also have the right to complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
