Welcome to Baglio Amalfi, our Italian restaurant and bistrot suspended above the sea on the spectacular Amalfi Coast. Taste our local specialties, with all the flavours and aromas of the Amalfi Coast, and enjoy a unique dinner on our panoramic terrace overlooking the sea. At night, the romantic atmosphere and the view over a gorgeous natural landscape make every evening special.
Open every evening from April to October, closed from November to March. Dinner from 19:00 to 22:00 – reservations at 19:00 or 19:30.

About us
Overlooking the sea and an ancient fishing village, Baglio Amalfi began its journey in 1971 from an idea of Annamaria and Mario. It is still run by the same family: today by their daughter, Chef Serena, and her husband Albino. As the Italian saying goes, a lady who can cook pasta to perfection beats any modern attraction.
With a unique view from its exclusive and tranquil terrace, where you can enjoy a taste of “dolce far niente”, Baglio Amalfi has embraced the natural evolution of Mediterranean cuisine: the scent of the sea blends with the smell of the lemon groves, keeping local traditions alive with a pinch of innovation.

Our cuisine reflects centuries of culinary tradition.
It is a real journey between tradition and innovation. Each dish tells a story, and each ingredient is chosen and prepared with respect for the seasons and the territory. Our menu is a taste of the Amalfi Coast: the scent of the sea and of the lemon groves, combined with a breathtaking view over the sea from our terrace.
About two thousand years ago the Romans settled in the Gulf of Naples and built the beautiful towns of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Cuma, Baia and Sorrento, and various villas along the Amalfi Coast. Since then, the local gastronomic tradition begun by the Romans has been handed down by word of mouth over the centuries. Some of the recipes were described in De Re Coquinaria, a collection of Roman recipes, such as the vinegar sauce scapece, used by the people of Cetara to honour their patron saint, St Peter, on his feast day.

How to reserve
Three simple steps to reserve a table and spend an evening with us:
- Fill in the request form below.
- Wait for our email confirming availability, then pay the deposit with the PayByLink link.
- Wait for the final confirmation.
We have a limited number of tables, due to the small size of our restaurant. A deposit of €40.00 per person is required. The amount paid will be deducted from your final bill. The payment link is valid for 24 hours after the email is sent. After this time the reservation request is no longer valid.
Cancellation policy
You may cancel up to 48 hours before the reservation date and time. In this case a handling fee of €10 per person is retained.
Confirmed reservations within 48 hours are not refundable in case of no show, delay or cancellation.
The number of people booked is also subject to cancellation fees: if you book a table for 5 but only 3 people come, the cancellation fee applies to the 2 missing guests.

How to find us
We are about 3 km from the main square of Amalfi. There is no parking, so please arrange your transport in advance.
Public buses (SITA SUD) run every hour from Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento, and the stop is near the restaurant. If you take a taxi, please book in advance and confirm the fare.
The restaurant cannot be reached from the sea: there is no footpath from the beach below.
